Ejiofor Ugwu is the author of The Book of God, APBF/Akashic, 2017. His work has also been published in Guernica, African American Review, Public Pool, Sentinel Nigeria, Kalahari Review, The Poetry Review, The New Black Magazine, Drumtide Magazine, Poetry Society of America, Cordite Poetry Review, Elsewhere Lit, Expound, and the University of Nigeria’s journal, The Muse. He has worked as a journalist for Satellite Times Nigeria, reporting art and culture, illicit finance and human rights investigation, especially women’s rights violations. He has been interviewed for Geosi Reads, Ghana; Africa in Dialogue, Botswana; and Amherst College’s magazine, The Common. He is currently a PhD student at Syracuse University where his research interests include global Black literature, Nollywood, environmental humanities, and (African) digital cultures.
